I've personally always loved the phrase coined by Stephanie Tanner on Full House. "How Rude" certainly extends to most of society today.

For instance, a coworker I have seems to think she is my boss, althought we're on the same level. She tells me "hey go get this" or "hey go do that." For a while, I just went ahead and did it, but now it's gotten to the point where I'm tired of it. She told me to go get her something while we were standing next to each other and I said "I'm sorry, I'm busy. You'll have to go get it yourself if you want it."

This doesn't just extend to coworkers, though. I've held open the door for people at stores and don't get a thank you. My dad used to scream after people "You're Welcome!" to make them embarrased after he held the door open for them. Personally, I don't blame him for that.

It seems our society has forgotten a few things. A) If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. B) Treat others the way you want to be treated. C) "Please" and "Thank You" are the magic words. It isn't too hard to be nice to everyone. Try it sometime.

Sticks and stones may break the bones, but words pierce the soul.

Phillip Parker, 14. Kayla Wright, 15. EricJames Borges, 19. Amanda Cummings, 15. Sheniz Erkan, 14. Jon Carmichael, 13. Myelle Nash, 15. What do all these names have in common? They, among many other teens, chose to end their life after being bullied. The reasons all vary, but the bullying was all the same. This epidemic has brought tragedy upon us in various parts of the world – not just centralized to one country. The most painstaking part is that it CAN be stopped.

Here’s the statistics:

 - 1 out of every 4 teens is bullied.
- 1 out of 5 teens admits to being a bully, or doing some “bullying.”
- Every 7 minutes a child is bullied. 85% of the time there is no intervention.
- 97% of middle schoolers are bullied online and 47% of 18-24 year olds.
http://stompoutbullying.com/aboutbullying_theissue.php

“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”

Every single person can take simple steps to stomp out bullying.

1 – Be nice to everyone you meet. Even if they’re mean to you, kill them with kindness.
2 – Think about what you say and what you post. Before you call someone a name or make a post insulting someone, think about it. Could this be hurtful to someone else?
3 – Stand up! If you see another person being bullied, whether online or in person, say something. Don’t stand by and let them suffer. Be a friend, tell them that it gets better. If you, or someone you know, is having suicidal thoughts – get help. There’s suicidal hotlines in place, some SPECIFICALLY for teens to help you through it all.
4 – Join the “it gets better” project at http://www.itgetsbetter.org
5 – Spread the word.

Together, we can change the world.

I recently bought Minecraft. It seemed fun after reading reviews. I knew I would like it... I was wrong.Minecraft!

Minecraft is a game which never ends. The only end is your imagination. You have to place blocks around the randomly generated island, and build a hut to survive the first night. As the game progresses, it gets harder and harder.

When I first purchased it, I downloaded it then started playing survival mode. I didn't realize that you must hit a tree down with your fist, then build a wooden pickaxe! There wasn't any instructions. I had to read loads of articles on the Minecraft Wiki and then watch many YouTube videos about how to survive.

After reading the articles and watching YouTube videos, I realized how to play. I personally had to set the difficulty to Peaceful at first, which means all the beasts outside at night can't eat me, as they were disabled!

In my opinion, Minecraft is an ok game. It is hard until you realize you must read some Minecraft wiki articles and YouTube videos. Minecraft seemed fun to me, but I was wrong... I loved it! Also, the price at £16.95 is a little too over-priced.

This is 0.1 signing off, playing Minecraft 24/7!

As many of you know the movie "2012" predicted that the world would end in 2012, most of the people who saw the movie just thought it was another fictional movie but some took it as a warning.

Next year is going to be a busy year with the Olympics heading to London, the brand new James Bond movie coming out, more eco cars coming out and the end of the world? Many people believe that next year will bring the end of the world, there are so many ways that the world is going to end that people are getting confused and arguing. But a lot of people are agreeing that the world will end next year. The movie "2012" was one of the main reasons that people started predicting that the world will end in 2012 as the movie predicted that the earths core shall heat up and the earth should turn into a volcanic hell.

But there are so many opinions of how the world shall end but there are more and more news reports of the world ending but will it really happen?

This is AstroLewbo reporting for Habbcrazy, hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

It’s strange to think that the technology we have now would not have existed just a few years ago, and will probably be outdated within the next few too. It is said that the technology and power held within our smart phones today matches that used in Apollo to send the first man to the moon, scary right? Technology has advanced more than anyone could have imagined a few years ago and will continue to do so, but, is it scarier than we think when we see the bigger picture?

Tearing you away? Today, parents all over the world are under pressure from current society to buy themselves, and their children, the latest gadgets, clothes and more.  This pressure is most felt of course in low-income households, particularly around the festive season. Technology provides a string of communication between each other which can often lead to the good, the bad and even the ugly. By bad, I aren’t referring to small petty arguments that people may have but more to bigger issues, such as the underlying trouble behind the English riots a few months ago. This saw children as young as 11 looting after texting/calling one another with their plans and so called aims.

In the past, when technology was non-existent or just being introduced, families would spend almost all of their time together. However, in the present day, this is not the case. This is partly due to long working hours on the parent’s behalf but also, technology. As my grandparents may say “The devil of timewasting!”. It’s not hard to walk through a busy town to see people with earphones in their ears, or their fingers darting around a screen or keypad. There is almost, an unannounced competition between citizens to have the best, more recent, stylish technology out there. Going through an average school and asking a class of students you would be able to see, from the small minority, which the most popular brands of phones and gadgets are. As a younger child, my first phone was a basic Nokia, as we would now call it “a brick” but now, the younger generations are being introduced into technology a lot faster getting more advanced phones and gadgets then we could have dreamed of a few years ago.

Technology presents a fear to people of all generations.  We seem to think that if we don’t use our technology, we will be left behind in a whirl of developments. A prime example of technology advances is mobile phones. The very first mobile phone (known as a portable phone back then) for the general public was produced in 1985 by Vodaphone. Since then more and more developments have been made and the market has grown to be one of the most competitive. You can think of this as a tree. The very first phone, was a seed planted in the soil. Over time, that tree has grown with more and more branches growing off it, competing for the sunlight, or in the case of technology, the limelight. Much like animals adapt to a habitat, we have adapted to technology. Most of us today could pick up a brand new mobile phone and be able to use it without taking a glance at the instruction booklet purely because, we can!

Some would say that the internet is the greatest advance in technology. Today, right this very second, you are sat there, staring at a computer screen after searching HabbCrazy into a search engine. An individual can do anything, find out anything over the internet. Can it get much better than this?

Looking into the future, we all have these slightly bizarre ideas, hover crafts, non-physical money. But will any of that become a reality? Truth is, most of it is already here and we just don’t see that. Credit cards are the ultimate form of non-physical money at present time. A person can receive a pay package and not even see it; it would be placed straight into an account.

What do you think about the future? Will we all be traveling around on jet packs in outer space purely because technology lets us?

Yes, that's right. Last night, Mark Cavendish won BBC Sport's Personality of the year for this year. But honestly, some other people deserved it.

For example, think about Mo Farah, who came third, he was at the Olympics and is training hard. But, Mark Cavendish is mainly known just for winning the Tour de France. Yes it's quite amazing to win it, but what about Andrew Strauss? He won with his team the Ashes against Austrailia. England have won it twice in a row in England and Austrailia.

And then you have the likes of Andy Murray, Rory McIlory and Amir Khan. All of them have had reasonably good years. Andy Murray - well let's just say his year's been affected by injuries. Rory McIlroy - he's an amazing golf player winning serveral titles. Last but not least, Amir Khan. Amir has had a good year: the boxer has won serveral fights and remember, he lost that fight a few weeks ago.

You may know them but the remaining ones are Alastair Cook, Dai Greene, Luke Donald and Darren Clarke. These are all the nominees which might of won but if you're my age you may not know, but most of the play Golf/Cricket or they do athletics.

So, you can't always wish for winners, but I guess that's the way life goes and all of these people deserve a well done and especailly Mark Cavendish.

A Leopard Gecko!Recently, I bought a leopard gecko! I thought I should do an article on them, so you can see if this is the right pet for you!

As said above, I recently bought two leopard gecko's. One is called Freckles, the other is Knuckles. They were priced at £20.00 and £25.00. The bits and bobs that you had to buy for them was expensive. I spent around £80.00 on sand (should be carpet!), hides, bowls, decoration and food. It all add's up!

In this first paragraph, I will explain their needs. Leopard gecko's need to eat live food. These include meal worms, crickets and locus. The meal worms are fine, they don't jump unlike the crickets and locus! Their cage shouldn't have sand in as this could build up in their stomach when they eat. Other things you can use is paper towels', carpet and news paper. You don't need to have a light, but it's best too if you want to see your geckos. Decoration isn't a must, but if you want to make the cage beautiful, its best to get some! Cleaning should be done once or twice a week! It shouldn't be too hard, as their mess is dry.

Sometimes, gecko's can get ill. Even with a good habitat they can get ill. Here is a few common health issues.

Digestive Tract Obstruction
This occurs when a gecko eats something it is unable to digest. The obstructions can be sand, gravel, or substrate that the leopard gecko ingested. Whatever it ate can form a blockage that can be fatal.

Calcium Deficiencies
If a leopard gecko does not get enough calcium in it’s diet, it may eat substrate to try to ingest calcium. If it eats too much, a blockage can be formed.

Mouth Infection
Mouth infections can occur. It can be caused by fighting, a dirty cage, or accidental injury. A sign of infection is swelling around your leopard gecko’s mouth.

In my opinion, a gecko makes a great pet as they live for 19-22 years. Since I have had these, they have been getting used to their new cage. They have really nice patterns and they sit down and let you stroke them. They make a great pet for younger kids.

This is 0.1, signing off, cuddling up with Freckles and Knuckles!

Do you know it's Christmas time?

"Do you know it's Christmas time?"  From the song made by Band Aid, the song shows us what Christmas is truly about.

If you listen to the lyrics in this song, they tell you to be grateful for what you have and not to take anything for granted, even life.

Lots of people will not be having a "merry" Christmas this year as people all over the world may not be able to afford food or drink, they may not be able to have any presents.

People will lose loved ones this Christmas and people may have already lost loved ones.

This article is in tribute to my best friend Mick who, unfortunately, died on Monday night.

Please please please be grateful for what you have this Christmas and especially do NOT take life for granted.

Opinions are welcome to be posted on this topic.

Ventriloquists are getting least common each year and so are puppets, but why?

Yesterday I was sitting watching the brilliant Ventriloquist Jeff Dunham with his Christmas Special which featured the famous, Achmed the dead terrorist, Walter and Peanut. Jeff is very famous worldwide, especially inthe USA. The problem is this is the only famous Ventriloquist that I can think of in the UK, maybe this is because we don't get that many Ventriloquists in the UK.

I asked my family and they said they didn't even know who Jeff Dunham was! So I guess that just proves that Ventriloquists are no longer popular! I love Jeff Dunham, I think he must be the only decent one left.

And also puppets aren't popular either, so I guess maybe puppet shows have went out the window too!

I will leave that decision to you, this is AstroLewbo reporting for HabbCrazy!
